Two-Headed Giant Commander Tournament

It's time to team up and flex your commander decks in our first bracket tournament for Commander! We are so excited to launch our first Two-Headed Giant event in years and we're starting off with a bang with Commander.

Players need to team up with another player, and then play games against other pairs in hope of beating the best of the best and taking the Two-Headed crown. Please be aware that tickets are to be purchased for a team of 2, not per person.

As this is our first event of this nature, we are eager to receive feedback from all the players, so please share anything you'd like us to do differently, or that you enjoy about this event in the future - or even other formats you might like to see use Two-Headed Giant!

So, what are the rules for 2HG Commander?

- working in teams of two, each player comes armed with a regular commander deck (up to bracket 4, no infinite combos)- the starting team cannot draw on their first turn- Commander damage is set at 21 per commander- each team has a combined life total of 50- teams take their turns together, and change phases together- during combat players must declare which player/planeswalker is being attacked for each creature- a player can block attacks targeting their teammates- you only control cards you own individually, your only shared resource is life and may only interact with things you directly own or control


This event will have a capacity of 8 teams of 2, in the two-headed giant commander format and will be run using best of 1 SWISS rounds. 

Timings:

Registration will begin from 10:30am, with the first round to start at 11am. Rounds will be 1 hour and 30 minutes long with a 5 minute break between rounds (if needed), and will be best of 1.

There will be 3 rounds of play. 


ID & Decklists:

This event requires all participants to have a MTG Arena or MTG Companion App account. Please have your email associated with that account to hand in case it is needed for sign in.

Whilst decklists are not required for this event, players are required to disclose the bracket of their deck as determined by WOTCs official system. For detailed info on that please see the link here. We recommend the use of the Manabox app as once your deck has been input you can tap the info tab to get your decks bracket automatically. If you are found to be playing cards that would place your deck a bracket higher than that of the one you declared your team may be required to forfeit the round to your opponents and deck corrections be made.

The ban list for Commander should be adhered to, and we do not allow the use of proxies at our events.

Decks up to and including Bracket 4 will be accepted, however we ask that you refrain from including infinite combos in your deck.


Food & Drink:

Food and/or refreshments NOT purchased onsite are NOT permitted at our events, with the exception of water bottles. We have an onsite cafe, which provides a range of food and drink available for purchase on the day, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Hot food only may be bought on site, but requires a surcharge to be paid at the bar to do so. Anyone found to be bringing outside food and drink into the event may be asked to leave. 


Buying & Selling Cards:

We are a singles retailer for multiple TCGs! Cards are available to sell to us for store credit or cash, and purchase from us both onsite and on our website, www.dicesaloonsingles.co.uk. We ask that large orders for singles are placed online prior to the event as we cannot guarantee those orders will be fulfilled in time on the day of the event. If you wish to sell singles you will be required to submit a buylist for the singles online and await its approval. When dropping off your buylist, depending on the size of the list, this may take some time to be finalized and for payment to be made. 

We do not otherwise allow the selling or purchase of singles or product in store.


Refund Policy:


If you need to cancel your ticket then a full refund will be given if we are notified 7 days before the start of the event.


If less than 7 days notice is given, the cost of your ticket will only be refunded if we are able to re-sell your ticket.


Tickets are non transferable. Please do not purchase your tickets from someone else. We have had issues of people selling fake tickets for our popular events.


Prizing:

All players will receive a promo card and a non-foil promo pack for participation.

In addition, 2 MTG boosters, of a value of up to £5, will be entered into the prizes per team and split between the top team.

Please add your MTG arena or Companion App email address in the space provided. If you do not have one please type acknowledge this message by typing YES.

Please leave your team name and the first name of both players.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
We cannot accept returns on sealed product that has been opened. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item, alternatively you can request instead of a refund to have it exchanged for store credit. Upon confirmation of this the Store Credit will be attached to the account used for the original purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Pre-Order, Cancellation and Non-Refundable Deposits
Please consider when placing your pre-order that you are reserving stock, which we are also charged processing fee's on. If you chose to cancel a pre-order before its dispatched we may charge you up to 10% of the total order fee as part of your Non-Refundable Deposit to cover any losses that directly result from your cancellation.

Bot / Sneaker Bot orders
Any order we find with more than reasonable suspicion* to be placed using a bot violates the terms and conditions defined by this website. As such we reserve the right to cancel your order with a service charge fee to cover any losses caused. If you cancel your order also after finding the bot has not performed correctly to your parameters due to naming problems, pricing issues or anything within your control, we reserve the right to withhold an amount of the order we find reasonable, up to and not limited to 50% of the order total to cover any reasonable loss of fees, service, staffing time, handling and payment fee's. The user will also be blocked from further purchases from our webstore to prevent further disruption to the business. Any future attempts to make accounts with us will be removed and could be reported to either HMRC or Action Fraud prevention in the case or repeated charge backs.
*An example if orders being placed within seconds of a product being created. When this product has never previously existed on the webstore or had links provided to search engines. This is clearly the result of bot purchasing.
