RCQ Duskmourn: House of Horror - Sealed Deck

Earn your spot at the Regional Championship by winning this event.


The format for this event is Sealed. Each player will receive 6 Duskmourn House of Horror Play boosters with which they will build a 40 card minimum deck, using what you open but haven't put in your deck as your Sideboard. Basic lands are available to borrow for the event, but will need to be returned upon its conclusion. Please make sure you have sleeves and a pen for this event. 

10am - open for registration

10:20am - registration closes

10:25am - players meeting

10:30am - deck construction

11:30am - Start of round one

The number of rounds will be dependent on the number of players.

8 players - 3 swiss rounds
9-16 players - 4 swiss rounds, followed by a top 4 cut.
17-24 players - 5 swiss rounds, followed by a top 8 draft

Food & Drink:

Food and/or refreshments are available onsite from our cafe. Should you wish to bring in hot food you are welcome to do so, but we ask that you pay a £3.50 surcharge at the cafe to do so. We do not allow outside drinks, with the exception of water bottles.

Wait List:

In the circumstance that this event has sold out, please send your current address, contact email address and phone number to admin@dicesaloonsingles.com with the subject line RCQ Duskmourn Wait List. If those details are not included in the email you will NOT be added to the list. 

Those on the list will be contacted in order they have submitted their details when/if spaces become available, up to and including the morning of the event. Please do not contact us multiple times enquiring about Wait List updates, we will not be able to provide this information. 

Personal Belongings & Spectators:

We have limited space for this event. Please do not bring excess personal belongings, we do not have any storage facilities. There will not be space available for spectators at this event. 

Buying & Selling Cards:

We are a Magic the Gathering Singles retailer! Cards are available to sell to us for store credit or cash, and purchase from us both onsite and on our website, www.dicesaloonsingles.co.uk. We ask that large orders for singles are placed online prior to the event as we cannot guarantee those orders will be fulfilled in time on the day of the event. If you wish to sell singles you will be required to submit a buylist for the singles online and await its approval. When dropping off your buylist, depending on the size of the list, this may take some time to be finalized and for payment to be made. 

We do not otherwise allow the selling or purchase of singles or product in store.

Refund Policy:

If you need to cancel your ticket then a full refund will be given if we are notified 7 days before the start of the event.

If less than 7 days, the cost of your ticket will only be refunded if we are able to re-sell your ticket.

Tickets are non transferable. Please do not purchase your tickets from someone else. We have had issues of people selling fake tickets for our popular events.

Prizes:

There will be 2 Play boosters added to the prize pool per player. This will be split amongst the top 4/8 players on standings after the SWISS rounds, before the cut to top 4/8 draft.

1st place - Qualifies for Regional Championship + 1 foil RCQ Promo and 1 non-foil RCQ promo.


2nd-8th place - 1 Non foil RCQ Promo


The first 16 players to purchase a ticket will also receive a Secret Lair prize registration RCQ promo. To qualify for the registration promo you must also attend the event.

All players will receive a 30th Anniversary promo for participating.

Please add your MTG arena or Companion App email address in the space provided. If you do not have one please type acknowledge this message by typing YES.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
We cannot accept returns on sealed product that has been opened. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item, alternatively you can request instead of a refund to have it exchanged for store credit. Upon confirmation of this the Store Credit will be attached to the account used for the original purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at admin@dicesaloonsingles.com.

Refunds for Event Tickets
If you need to cancel your ticket then a full refund will be given if we are notified 7 days before the start of the event.

If less than 7 days notice is given, the cost of your ticket will only be refunded if we are able to re-sell your ticket.

Pre-Order, Cancellation and Non-Refundable Deposits
Please consider when placing your pre-order that you are reserving stock, which we are also charged processing fee's on. If you chose to cancel a pre-order before its dispatched we may charge you up to 10% of the total order fee as part of your Non-Refundable Deposit to cover any losses that directly result from your cancellation.

Bot / Sneaker Bot orders
Any order we find with more than reasonable suspicion* to be placed using a bot violates the terms and conditions defined by this website. As such we reserve the right to cancel your order with a service charge fee to cover any losses caused. If you cancel your order also after finding the bot has not performed correctly to your parameters due to naming problems, pricing issues or anything within your control, we reserve the right to withhold an amount of the order we find reasonable, up to and not limited to 50% of the order total to cover any reasonable loss of fees, service, staffing time, handling and payment fee's. The user will also be blocked from further purchases from our webstore to prevent further disruption to the business. Any future attempts to make accounts with us will be removed and could be reported to either HMRC or Action Fraud prevention in the case or repeated charge backs.
*An example if orders being placed within seconds of a product being created. When this product has never previously existed on the webstore or had links provided to search engines. This is clearly the result of bot purchasing.
